Bullet ^® Bare Fiber Adapters
The Bullet Bare Fiber Adapter is used to temporarily connect to bare (unterminated) fiber to meet test, service and communications requirements. Fiber Plus International offers the largest selection of Bullet Bare Fiber Adapter connector styles on the market. The Bullet features a unique holding mechanism which clamps down onto the fiber to hold it secure during testing or polishing. APC versions of the Bullet Bare Fiber Adapter are now available with FC and SC connectors.

          

  Divot ™ Bare Fiber Adapter / Tester
Testing bare fiber and test equipment pigtails just got a lot easier and faster. The Divot Bare Fiber Adapter accepts cleaved and non-cleaved fiber, requires only 3/4” of bare fiber exposed and has a typical insertion loss of less than 0.5 dB (with a cleaved fiber). No messy gel applicators or reservoirs to fill. Simply strip your fiber and insert.

  Custom Bullet ^® Bare Fiber Adapters
The Bullet Bare Fiber Adapters are also available in custom diameters. If you require a custom adaptor, please contact us with your connector and size requirements. Custom ferrule sizes currently available from 230uM to 1500uM.

A lower density padding is also available on the adapters if you are working with specialty or sensitive fiber.

  K Series Bullet ^® Bare Fiber Adapter Kits
The K Series Bullet Bare Fiber Adapter Kits come with interchangeable FC, ST and SC Connector Modules and a QuickLINK Universal Mating Sleeve. The QuickLINK when placed on the ferrule of the connector module allows the Bullet Bare Fiber Adapter to connect to any patch/jumper cable with an FC, ST, SC, DIN, E2000 or 2.5mm connector. Kits are also available with the Precision Fiber Stop accessory which assists in aligning the fiber flush with the end of the ferrule - recommended if connecting directly to equipment.
